The IAEA General Conference is an annual event held in September in Vienna. It brings together representatives of IAEA Member States to review and approve the Agency's budget and rule on issues raised by the Board of Governors, the Director General and Member States. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Agency, Andra organizes a web-conference on September 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m (Vienna time, or CET). the purpose of which will be to present the Agency, its missions and its development over three decades,  with a focus on Cigeo.

This is an opportunity to take stock of the project to date, both from a technical point of view and its development, governance and societal interactions, a few months before the request for the Authorization for the Construction is filed with the French Nuclear safety Authority.

Live from the CMHM, for 1h30, Pierre-Marie Abadie, Emilia Huret, Gérard Bourriaux and Pascal Leverd will answer questions from Daniel Delort and Marie Maertens. A  live Q&A session will follow.

The event is in English, and is open to everyone. Registration is compulsory.
