Signature of a memorandum of understanding with China Nuclear Power Engineering Corporation
On 11 October, Pierre Marie Abadie signed an MOU with the Director General of China Nuclear Power Engineering Corporation (CNPE), the engineering division of the leading operator of nuclear power plants in China (China National Nuclear Corporation).
The cooperation will concern studies and support for the disposal of low and intermediate level waste (safety assessment), and high-level waste, with the creation of an underground laboratory in clay.
