WiN & Andra: a partnership promoting gender equality and diversity in the nuclear sector

During the 2025 World Nuclear Exhibition, WiN France and Andra officially announced a partnership for 2026, marking a new milestone in their shared commitment to promoting gender balance and diversity, and to building a more inclusive nuclear sector.

Signed by Andrea Bachrata, President of WiN France, and Lydie Evrard, CEO of Andra, this partnership launches an ambitious collaboration around shared objectives:

encouraging women and girls to pursue careers in scientific and technical fields,
highlighting the diversity and richness of professional backgrounds and experiences,
promoting a more open, inclusive and innovative nuclear industry.

As an engaged stakeholder for over 30 years within the Sfen (French Nuclear Energy Society), WiN France works actively to advance gender equality, diversity and inclusion, notably through mentorship programmes, awareness-raising initiatives and experience-sharing actions.

Starting in 2026, this partnership will give rise to new initiatives aimed at strengthening the attractiveness of careers at Andra and mobilising its teams across all the Agency's sites.
