Andra participation at the GLOBAL international conference
Andra took part in the GLOBAL international conference, held from 24 to 29 September 2017 in Seoul, South Korea. Pierre-Marie Abadie (Andra CEO) and Patrick Landais (Director of development, innovation and international affairs) each gave presentations at the GLOBAL conference, an event held every 2 years for international nuclear fuel cycle experts.
Pierre-Marie Abadie (Andra CEO) and Patrick Landais (Director of development, innovation and international affairs) each gave presentations at the GLOBAL conference, an event held every 2 years for international nuclear fuel cycle experts. This conference attracts nearly 500 participants from 25 countries, to discuss practices and experience in all fields: uranium resources, spent fuel recycling, waste management, etc.
Pierre-Marie Abadie took part in a plenary session dedicated to “Global Back-end Nuclear Fuel Cycles and Challenges for High Level Radioactive Waste Management”. He presented Cigéo and the corresponding 30 years of research. The international relations department also intervened during the course of these 4 days.
