Appointment of the Chair of the Ethics and Society Committee
The Andra Board has appointed a Chair and Vice-Chair who will head the Ethics and Society Committee on an alternating annual basis.
For 2017: Jean-Pierre Aubert as Chair and Rémi Barbier as Deputy Chair.
For 2018: Rémi Barbier as Chair and Jean-Pierre Aubert as Deputy Chair.
Jean-Pierre Aubert occupied the position of General Inspector of economics and finance. During his career, he has been involved in industrial changes in the regions, notably the shutdown of the Superphénix reactor in Isère. He is today Secretary General of the Mutations - Anticipations - Innovation Research Group at the Paris business administration institute (IAE).
Rémi Barbier is a teacher at the National School for water and environment engineering of the University of Strasbourg and Director of the Local water and environment management research unit (GESTE) His work concerns democracy and governance issues around environmental installations.
