Covid-19: Andra is refocusing activities on essential functions
In line with government measures, Andra has decided to review the organization of its activities, within its head office in Châtenay-Malabry and on its facilities in Aube, Manche and Meuse / Haute -Marne. Arrangements have been made to guarantee the resources necessary for the Agency’s essential missions, in particular those relating to site security and the monitoring of installations and the environment.
The confinement measures applicable in France have led Andra’s management to halt all waste treatment, disposal and underground laboratory’s activities. Only essential functions have been maintained on-site. Teleworking is largely used and most staff are now working from home. Access to the sites is strictly restricted, including to employees.
